iLevil 3 AW
Levil's complete wireless avionics module: AHRS, pitot-static airspeed and altitude, WAAS GPS and dual-band ADS-B In, streamed to the tablet — a six-pack on an iPad, portable or permanently mounted.
- Turns a tablet into a six-pack: attitude, pitot-static airspeed and altitude, WAAS GPS and dual-band ADS-B In

Details.
The iLevil 3 AW turns a tablet into a six-pack. Attitude from a no-drift AHRS, indicated airspeed and pressure altitude from the aircraft's own pitot-static system, position from a WAAS GPS, and traffic and weather from a dual-band ADS-B In receiver — all in one module that streams to the EFB over WiFi, and that you can carry between aircraft or mount for good.
What it measures
- Attitude — 3-axis gyros, accelerometers and magnetometers, calibrated to aviation grade; AHRS data at 14 frames a second, rates of turn to 500 degrees a second, and accurate through aerobatics
- Air data — static and dynamic pressure transducers on the pitot-static system, for real indicated airspeed and pressure altitude rather than GPS estimates
- Position — WAAS GPS
- ADS-B In — 978 and 1090 MHz: traffic, and weather where the service exists
- Data recording — the whole flight, for download afterwards
All the ports you need
RS232 in and out connect it to a panel navigator — a Garmin GTN 650 or 750 and others — using aviation data or the NMEA autopilot sentence, so the tablet's flight plan can reach the panel. Micro-USB for firmware updates, data transfer and charging; automatic on and off through the 3.5 mm jack on regulated 5 V.
Portable or permanent
On the glareshield with its own battery today; behind the panel on a wire harness tomorrow. The iLevil mount holds it in a fixed, aligned position, and the harness is available in 3, 6, 9 and 12 ft.
- 3.2 × 4.2 × 1.1 inches
- Operating temperature −10 to +60 °C
Upgradeable to the iLevil AP autopilot. Pair it with an iris EFIS Pro display for a panel-mounted screen.
Questions pilots ask.
Is the airspeed real or GPS-derived?
Real — static and dynamic pressure transducers on the aircraft's pitot-static system give indicated airspeed and pressure altitude, not estimates.
Can it be installed permanently?
Yes — the iLevil mount holds it in a fixed, aligned position and the wire harness (3, 6, 9 or 12 ft) powers it from the aircraft and carries the RS232 lines.
Can it feed a panel-mounted screen?
Yes — an iris EFIS Pro display connects over WiFi and becomes a panel-mounted primary flight display for it.
