The KBS1X is the KTX2's wiring harness with one addition: the adapter that connects a GPS mouse to the transponder's position input. It replaces the standard harness, not supplements it, so a KTX2 that will do ADS-B Out from a serial GPS needs this one cable set and nothing else between the connector and the airframe.

What it carries

Power, ground and the transponder's data lines on open ends, ready for the aircraft's wiring, plus the GPS adapter on its own branch. Made up to TQ's pinout, so there is nothing to work out from the manual at the bench.

When to choose it

With a GPS mouse as the position source. If you are using one of the ADS-B Out kits instead, the kit brings its own harness and this one is not needed.

Works with the KTX2-S, KTX2-S.v2 and KTX2-F.v2.
