Three clocks and a stopwatch in one instrument, all set by the built-in GPS receiver so none of them is ever wrong. UTC for the log, local time for the airfield, flight time from the moment you left the ground — and a stopwatch you start and stop with a press of the knob for a hold, a timed leg or a fuel check. This is the 80 mm version, behind a 3.5 inch display.
Why GPS time
A clock that drifts is a clock you stop trusting. The iris chrono takes its time from the GPS constellation and stays right without ever being set. The same receiver detects take-off and landing, so flight time runs on its own — no button to remember at the start of the roll.
Configured from a phone
Set up over WiFi through the CAN2WiFi device: which of the three clocks lead, units, font size, colours and where each value sits on the face. Brightness is on the knob.

Does it need the iris GPS module?
No — the chrono has its own GPS receiver and the antenna is in the box. The separate GPS module is for the airspeed indicator and altimeter.
Which cutout does it need?
A standard 80 mm cutout. The iris chrono 57 is the same instrument for a 57 mm cutout.
