The iLevil AP is normally flown from a tablet, or from the Levil Aviation Joy grip. The AP Controller is the third way: a wired control head, mounted in the panel, for the pilot who wants the autopilot's modes under a physical control that is always in the same place and never depends on a wireless connection.
When to choose it
For a permanent installation where the tablet is a chart, not a control panel. For an aircraft flown by several pilots, where one fixed control is easier to teach than an app. For anyone who prefers a button that clicks.
How it connects
Hardwired to the iLevil AP sensor unit. It works alongside the tablet and the Joy — engaging from one and disengaging from another is fine — so adding it later to an existing iLevil AP changes nothing else.
Requires the iLevil AP autopilot.
