KRT2 Mini Portrait

The KRT2 Mini Portrait is the same radio as the KRT2 Standard — the same transceiver, the same 6 W, the same intercom and memories — in a compact, upright rectangular body instead of a round 57 mm instrument. It exists for the panel that is full: a narrow strip beside the instruments, a centre console, a glider panel where every round hole already has something in it.

Portrait, not landscape

Mini Portrait stands tall and narrow, with the display above the controls. The same radio also comes as Mini Landscape, lying flat; we stock the Portrait, which is the orientation that fits between two rows of round instruments.

8.33 kHz, done properly

The full 117.975 to 137.000 MHz band at 8.33 and 25 kHz spacing, 2,278 channels, with the frequency stability and channel separation of a fully digital design. Transmit power is 6 W at 13.5 V or above. A dual-watch function keeps a second frequency in view, and one hundred memories hold yours with names up to eight characters.

Intercom and audio built in

A two-place intercom is inside the radio, so a two-seater needs no separate box. Two microphone inputs, standard or dynamic, an audio input for other devices, and a PTT on the harness.

Talks to the instrument

Like every KRT2, it has the fullest data integration of any radio our instruments support: an LX 10K, Era or Navia system can put a frequency into standby, swap active and standby, and read the frequencies back. Ask for the vario-to-KRT2 cable or the KBS cable set for your installation.
