Packed with features.

CLUB READY
Equip your club gliders.

Installation and use are simple and intuitive without compromising any features — perfect for fleets flown by many hands.

INTERFACE
Super smart yet simple.

We reinvented the graphic user interface from the ground up: move through pages with a rotary knob, select with a push.

UPGRADE
Replace your old vario system.

Era was designed as the upgrade for older vario-navigation units and drops into standard 57 and 80 mm panel cutouts.

DISPLAY
The biggest transflective display.

Transflective technology is the best in a cockpit — and the Era 80 carries the biggest such display in an 80 mm device on the market.

THERMALLING
Thermal assistant.

Start circling and the thermal assistant appears — follow the bigger red circles to the core, with wind, airspeed and altitude alongside.

RECORDER
IGC flight recorder inside.

An IGC-approved recorder with ENL engine noise level is built in — your claim flight is safe even if the panel loses power.

INSTALLATION

The back is as important as the front.

Every button, knob and port is marked — on the panel and on the back of the device. Installation and wiring should not take more than 30 minutes of your time.

A single CAN bus cable carries power and data to any accessory in the loop: connect the AHRS module to the CAN port and the horizon page appears. Plug and play.

Backup battery is our standard.

Every Era carries at least 3 hours of reserve, activated only if you lose power mid-flight. We have saved numerous competition flights this way — so a backup is not an option, it is the standard.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Era fit my existing panel cutout?

Yes — the Era comes in the standard 57 and 80 mm formats and was designed as a drop-in replacement for older vario units. Installation and wiring take about 30 minutes.

Can I upgrade an Era essential to the full Era later?

Yes. The Era essential-to-Era upgrade unlocks the IGC flight recorder and full TP, APT, TSK and Nearest navigation on the hardware you already own.

Does the Era record IGC flights?

The full Era has an IGC-approved flight recorder with ENL built in; the optional MOP sensor covers JET and FES gliders. The Era essential keeps a logbook but has no IGC recorder.

Which accessories can I connect?

The AHRS module, the LX Joy joystick and a flaps sensor — each over a single CAN bus cable that carries both power and data.
