Details.
A control grip is the one thing in the cockpit your hand never leaves, which makes it the right place for warnings and for the functions you use in a thermal. This is the LX joystick for the Zeus: an ergonomic grip in hand-stitched genuine leather, with a vibration motor the Zeus drives and buttons the Zeus reads.
Warnings you feel
A warning you have to see can be missed with your eyes outside. A vibration in the hand cannot. The Zeus uses the grip for the alerts that matter most — a collision warning from the FLARM, a stall warning — adding the sense of touch to the sound and the screen.
Functions under your thumb
The grip's buttons go to the Zeus, which maps them to the things a glider pilot does mid-thermal. What each button does is set in the instrument.
Fits the stick you have
Made for a standard 25.4 mm (1 inch) control column, with the cable routed down the stick.
